1. Selection

"Select More" will expand this selection and "Select Less" will shrink it.
Click on this box again to unselect it.

2. Isolate

Select this box and click "Isolate". Whoosh! Everything else disappears. Click Undo to get it back.

4. Widen

Sometimes the text you wish to print is squished into a narrow column. Printing these pages is incredibly wasteful as the columns must be many pages long to compensate for being so narrow.

Widen forces this columns to use the entire page width.

5. Resize

Select this box and click "Resize". Everything else will become uneditable. Click and drag the edges of this box to resize it. Click outside this box to resume editing.

6. Change Text Size

Click the "+" and "-" next to "Text Size" to increase and decrease text size.

7. Font Type

Change the page font with the "Font" drop-down.
Generally speaking, sans-serif fonts like Helvetica and Verdana look better on screen, while serif fonts like Times New Roman and Georgia look better on paper. Vera Sans Ecofont includes tiny holes in the characters to minimize ink consumption.

8. Hide Background

Select "Hide" next to "Background" to remove the background and make the text black.
Select "Show" to make the background reappear.

9. Hide Images

Select "Hide" next to "Images" to remove all the images.
Select "Show" to make the images reappear.

10. Save As

Click "Save As" -> "PDF" to save this page as a PDF.
"Save As" -> "HTML" displays this page with the editor removed.

11. Add Page

To merge another web page into this one, Click "Add Page" and enter a url like www.cnn.com. Your new page will be added to the bottom of this page.

If the page you're adding and the page you started with are from the same site, your changes to the first page will be copied to the new page.

Try it: Select "Hide" next to "Background" and select "Hide" next to "Images", click "Add Page" and enter: www.printwhatyoulike.com/demo. A copy of this page will be added to the bottom of this page. The background and images on the new page will be missing because your changes were copied over.
